Eyal Ariel aka SHIKU is an electronic music producer and DJ, based in Tel Aviv. SHIKU started his electronic musical journey more than 10 years ago, producing uptempo and downtempo underground sophisticated music. He is a musician of supreme grace which is highly respected among fellow producers, thanks to his extraordinary sound design and the perfect psychedelic yet elegant atmosphere in his productions and sets.
SHIKU is back on Camel Riders with 'Outdirt' EP, which includes 2 originals and 2 remixes. The 1st original by SHIKU is' Tekes Atik' which means 'Ancient Ceremony'. As the name suggests, this track blends spiritual and addictive rhythms with organic elements and obscure electronics, seasoned with elegant acid cosmic sounds. 2nd is the EP theme track 'Oudirt', which takes the listener to a deep psychedelic state, with its pleasurable acid strikes and delicious bass, accompanied by a charming and melancholic organic melody. Follow up next, The Portuguese duo Luis and Maria aka Ohxala' crafted an intelligent and powerful remix for 'Tekes Atik', which manages to preserve the original's obscure and deep sensations, yet with a different perspective with its edgy and spiral melodies.
Concluding the EP, we have the Dresden based producer - Kerstin Beck aka Barbarella, which assembled a delightful downtempo earthy and meditative remix for the EP theme track, with lots of acid splashes and deep round bass.
